Sunday's from 9 - 11 am

DBT is an evidence-based therapy that covers the topics of emotion regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. This group is a skills only group with 4 modules covered over 16 weeks. Each module is 4 weeks. Helpful for individuals with emotion regulation difficulties, trauma, unwanted behaviours, and relationship difficulties among other challenges. Whether you are wanting to understand your emotions and reactions better, reduce emotional vulnerability, or decrease emotional suffering, DBT skills will have something for you. You will learn an array of skills to help move forward to a "life worth living". This skills group is unique, as it includes trauma education on the biological responses we have from trauma. It also provides skills and understanding of why our behaviours and thoughts are happening in the first place. To register for this group, please email or call.
